Jason started working outside services at the club on September 11th 2001 and has been the Head Professional since 2007. He is a graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy and became a PGA member in 2008. He holds additional certifications in Golf Operations (PGA), and as Master Club Fitter with Callaway. Jason is known as “Pelz” and enjoys the opportunity to grow the game of golf through teaching, Jr. Golf, and creating fun activities for all ages and skill levels. Jason also enjoys music, playing bad guitar, and most games you can play with a beverage. He has a 323 yard hole in one on #13 here at the club and has bowled a perfect game 300. He and his wife Erin live in Ammon with their 2 dogs

Josh Benson has been the Golf Course Superintendent here at Idaho Falls Country Club since 2009. He was born in Livingston and raised in Billings, MT where golf was a part of his life from an early age. Josh received an Associates degree from Flathead Valley Community College and a Bachelors degree in Horticulture from Montana State University. Josh interned at Meadow Lake Golf Resort in Columbia Falls, MT and after graduating became Assistant Superintendent at Idaho Falls Country Club in 2007. Josh is a Class A superintendent, registered member of GCSAA and currently serves on the board of directors as President for the Idaho Golf Course Superintendent Association. In Josh’s spare time he loves to golf, camp, hunt and hang out with his family

Travis has been in the Golf Industry for nine years and has worked at Sage Lakes, The Tualatin Country Club, and good Ol’ IFCC. As well as Golf he loves Hockey, Baseball and Fishing

I was born and raised in East Idaho and lived in Shelley Idaho for the majority of my life. I come from a small family with only one other sibling. I met my wife Chelsie in 2016 and moved to the “Big City” the same year. We don’t have any children, but we have 3 fur babies in the form of 2 dogs and a cat that we love just the same! In my spare time I like to go out in the mountains as much as I can! I graduated from Shelley High in 2012 and jumped into the food and beverage world from there. I have managed at many restaurants around the area including everything from Pizza Hut to my most recent and most notable Smokin Fins. I started at Smokin Fins in 2018 when they opened here in Idaho Falls as a server, from there I bartended and was an hourly supervisor. I finished my career as the Assistant General Manager and is where most of you would recognize me from if I look familiar. I look forward to serving all of you and maintaining the level of experience you all love.
Executive Chef
A local chef with over 40 years’ experience in the Kitchen industry. He has worked for a wide variety of establishments. Previously he has been the chapter president of the American Culinary Foundation and served as a judge for a world champion Dutch oven competition. He won that competition himself in 2006! He has taught numerous Dutch oven and smoking classes and has spent the past 16 years using these skills cooking for a world class hunting outfitter. He also has experience as a cake decorator, melon sculptor, and self-taught ice carver. He enjoys art and being creative. He spends his personal time building old vehicles, painting, and working with leather and metal.
